International Tourism Research Institute Tourism creates jobs, income, new businesses, and a better quality of life. The International Tourism Research Institute exists to make this happen in your community or for your business. The institute serves international, national, regional, state, and local clients. The mission of the institute is to provide innovative assistance focused on tourism-related issues to communities, regional development organizations, state and federal agencies, and individual businesses. The Institute advocates for the tourism industry, focusing on tourism-related issues, providing credible data, and promoting the industry as a viable economic development strategy. Wine & Beverage Institute The Wine and Beverage Institute at the University of South Carolina is pleased to offer several courses designed to appeal to the wine enthusiast, wine hobbyist, and wine professional. Five wine courses have been developed to appeal to those interested in wine at all levels. Each course meets one night per week for four consecutive weeks. While the program is designed to offer a University of South Carolina certificate upon completion of all five courses, each individual course is taught as a stand alone unit so that interested participants can choose to enroll in all or some of the courses offered. Each course offers extensive tasting. The Alfred P. Sloan Travel and Tourism Industry Center |
