About USC
The University of South Carolina
Chartered in 1801 as South Carolina College, the University still remains on its original site in Columbia, the state capital. 
The campus has grown from its origins of one building on the historic Horseshoe to 155 facilities on 358 acres.
USC Columbia offers more than 350 undergraduate and graduate courses of study. Programs range from liberal arts and sciences to business, law, medicine, and other professional studies, many of which have been widely recognized for their academic excellence.
The College of Hospitality, Retail, & Sport Management
The mission of the College of Hospitality, Retail, and Sport Management is to support the economic, social, and cultural directions of the state by preparing well-educated leaders in professions that are integral to the state’s fortunes. The mission will be accomplished by fostering excellence in teaching, research, and outreach that establishes the college as a leader in its disciplines among major research universities.
The Moore School of Business
Founded in 1919, Moore School of Business is a large, comprehensive school recognized internationally for its innovative undergraduate, master’s, and doctoral programs. Each emphasizes internships, consulting projects, study abroad programs, and entrepreneurial opportunities.
