Biography:
Shannon McCutchen joined the College of Hospitality, Retail, and Sport Management in the fall of 2000 as an adjunct instructor. Prior to becoming an adjunct instructor, Shannon was an internal auditor with First Citizens Bank and Fleet Mortgage.

In addition to her responsibilities as an academic advisor and internship director, Shannon also continues to teach for the College. She has taught AIME 264 (Computer Applications), ITEC 242 (Business Communications) and RETL 261 (Accounting I).

Shannon received her undergraduate degree in Accounting with a minor in Communications from Clemson University in 1994 and her Master of Arts in Teaching for Business Education from the University of South Carolina in 1998. She is a past recipient of the SCBEA Scholarship and the Peabody Scholarship.
