ABOUT THE UNDERGRADUATE PROGRAM
  The Hotel Restaurant and Tourism Management program is designed for students to work toward a Bachelor of Science degree. A minimum of 127 semester hours is required to complete this degree. Students will complete required university courses as well as courses geared to the hospitality and tourism industry such as Hotel Management, Global Travel and Tourism, Private Club Management, Conventions and Meeting Planning, Restaurant Food Production Management, Wine and Spirits, and more. Students are also required to complete two internships in the hospitality and tourism industry, which often lead to career opportunities upon graduation.

This program is designed to prepare students for careers in the hospitality and tourism field. The program of study is geared toward students who would like to develop skills needed to be successful in a specific area of the program, allowing them to tailor their area of study to one of several different program emphases.
