EVENT INFORMATION:

Events

• Men’s and Women’s
• NTRP 2.5-4.5
• Singles, Doubles & Mixed Doubles

General Rules

• Players are limited to two events. Players cannot register for two singles or two mixed doubles.
  Players entering a second event may have to play back- to-back matches.
• Each draw is limited to 16 players and/or teams.
• Levels with too few entries may be combined with the next highest level. Please check on the entry form if you are willing to play at the next highest level.
• First match loser consolations in singles only.
• In mixed doubles, combined rates of both players must be less than or equal to level entered.
• For individuals playing league tennis, please provide your captain’s name and level on the entry form. Every effort will be made to not schedule a player’s first match against a teammate.
• 10 point match break will be used in lieu of a third set.
• Warm-up time is limited to 5 minutes.
• All players must check-in at least 30 minutes prior to each match.
• Awards will be presented to the winner and finalist in each division of four or more players. In draws of three or less players, award will be presented to winner only.
• In the event of inclement weather, surfacing and scoring may be altered.
• USTA rules will govern all matches.

• $30 for first event
• $15 for second event
  (Players are limited to two events. Players cannot register for two singles or two mixed doubles)

Times and Location

• Starting times will be available from 12:00 PM – 5:00 PM on Tuesday, September 2 by contacting 803.777.0783. Starting times will be posted at
  www.hrsm.sc.edu/events by NOON on Wednesday, September 3.
• Play begins the afternoon of Friday, September 5 at the Columbia Tennis Center (1635 Whaley Street).
• In the event of a larger draw, matches may begin on • Thursday, September 4 and an alternate site may also be used.
