An internship is a great way to get your foot into the door of a company and show them what you can do. Not only that, it is a great way to gain much need and necessary job experience. This summer I worked for the SCANA Corporation, it is the parent company for SCE&G and others in the Carolina and Georgia region. My specific job title is Apprentice Technician in Customer Service Field Technology, and I work in the Computer Automated Dispatch department. Within that department I do a little bit of it all, from building computers from a base XP image to going on site to help users fix there machines, to fixing networking and server problems. Everything that I experienced from the TSTM program helped me be prepared and ready for my job this summer and beyond.
