MATH 122 is a course that you will need to place into by taking the Math Placement Test    https://assess.math.sc.edu/
If you do not place into MATH 122, you will need to take the Math course that you placed into prior to taking MATH 122. This additional math course will take the place of one general elective.
 
FOREIGN LANGUAGE REQUIREMENT: Students shall demonstrate in one foreign language the ability to comprehend the topic and main ideas in written and, with the exception of Latin and Ancient Greek, spoken texts on familiar subjects. This ability can be demonstrated by achieving a score of two or better on a USC foreign language proficiency test. Those failing to do so must satisfactorily complete equivalent study of foreign language at USC.– These courses will be calculated under Liberal Arts Electives: FREN, GERM, LATN, SPAN 109 and 110 OR ARAB, CHIN, GREK, HEBR, ITAL, JAPA, KORE, PORT, RUSS, SWAH 121 OR SPAN 111

FINE ARTS must be one of the following:

ARTE 101, ARTH 105, ARTH 106, DANC 101, MUSC 110, MUSC 140 or THEA 200.

Areas of SCIENCE include:
ASTR, BIOL, CHEM, ENVR, GEOL, MSCI, PHYS
ITEC 264--Computer Applications In Business may substitute for SPTE 274
RETL 261 is a prerequisite to RETL 262
ECON 224
and RETL 261 are prerequisites to MKTG 350
MKTG 350
is a prerequisite to SPTE 380
ECON 224, RETL 261, RETL 262, STAT 201
are prerequisites to FINA 363
FINA 363
is a prerequisite to SPTE 440
It is highly recommended that Practicum (SPTE 295)
is done before SPTE 440 and
SPTE 444
--Study Abroad
A Study Abroad Course can be used to complete 1 Professional elective or if it is an SPTE study abroad course it can be used to complete 1 SPTE elective 

+Practicum and Internship Requirements
The practicum and internship can be taken during the Spring, Summer or Fall Semester--No courses can be taken while enrolled in SPTE 295 and SPTE 495. Both courses are 6 hours of credit--tuition fees apply
