Biography
A native of Clemson, S.C., McKenzie has been on the staff of the University of South Carolina for more than 20 years. In addition to mentoring and the undergraduate advisement of the majority of SPTE majors, he coordinates a highly successful and evolving e-mail based communications system. This approach links our extended family of majors and alumni with opportunities from throughout our customer industry and has been vital in helping students and alumni learn about time sensitive opportunities that they can then leverage for their practicums, internships and career progression. In addition to fostering, enhancing and maintaining customer industry relationships; he is involved in the ongoing research of emerging customer industry technologies, particularly the evolution of wireless connectivity and its potential applications in sport and entrainment. He, "enjoys the satisfaction of helping our majors, alumni and customer industry progress as well as being a key member of a top-tier program."
