    A risk management plan is only as effective as the individuals responsible for implementing the plan.  Venue managers must impart to all employees that foreseeability is of paramount importance in order to put the rick management plan into practice.  A recent case involving a spectator at a Paul McCartney concert at FedEx Field will be reviewed.

    Tragic, or Stupid? Liability for Fans Falling Over Railings at Ballparks
    In 1929, the current minimum railing height was set for sports and entertainment venues.  Since that time, however, bodies have continued to fall.  Are the resulting injuries and deaths the fault of venues for installing inadequate railings, or patrons for failing to take proper care for their own safety?  Perhaps other parties deserve a share of the blame?  Venue safety expert Steve Adelman speculates with you about what is reasonable under the circumstances.
