Dale
Adams
Vice President Booking & Event Development, AEG Facilities
Working within the venue management and live event touring
industries for over the past 30 years Dale Adams has crafted one
of the most unique and diverse industry portfolios around.
Adams began his career in the multi-venue
Lakeland
Civic Center
complex in Lakeland, Florida. He also held General Manager &
Director level positions for such venues as the
Pontchartrain
Center (Kenner,
LA) and the UMass
Mullins Center
(Amherst,
MA). Dale
worked for Feld Entertainment as a Disney On Ice touring General
Manager (both domestic and international touring) and Director
of North American Routing & Tours.
Adams returned to the venue management side as
General Manager, opening the new 18,000 seat Coliseo de Puerto
Rico in San Juan, Puerto Rico and
then opened the new 19,000 seat
Prudential
Center in Newark, New Jersey,
home of both the New Jersey Devils and New Jersey Nets.
Both the Coliseo de Puerto Rico and the Prudential Center
won prestigious worldwide awards under
Adams in 2005, 2006, and 2007.
Additionally, Adams held a brief stint with Premier
Exhibitions as the Senior Vice President of Booking and Routing
and now oversees all non concert bookings for AEG Facilities
worldwide in his role as the Vice President Booking & Event
Development.
Adams earned the title of CFE (Certified
Facilities Executive) in 1997 from the International Association
of Assembly Managers (IAAM) and is currently teaching at the IAAM Public
Assembly
Facility
Managers
School
at Oglebay and is a past member of the Board of Regents.
Adams is a graduate of the
University
of Massachusetts Sports Management
Program.
