The International Conference on Sport and Entertainment Business
to be held Nov. 15 - 17

The College of Hospitality, Retail, and Sport Management Department of Sport and Entertainment Management will host the 11th International Conference on Sport and Entertainment Business November 15-17 at the Columbia Metropolitan Convention Center.

The conference brings together sport and entertainment industry leaders and those educating future leaders of the industry. The conference provides an excellent opportunity for students and professors to interact with industry leaders and develop networking opportunities within the industry. This year there will also be career fair for students attending the conference.

Some of the speakers on this year’s stellar lineup include Richard Andersen, Executive Vice President of the San Diego Padres, Jay Feaster, General Manager of the Tampa Bay Lightning, Brad Mayne, President & CEO, American Airlines Center, Wilson Howard, President, Southeast Region Live Nation, Jeff Meyer, Senior Vice President of Event Marketing for Feld Entertainment, Inc, and Bill Kraus, Senior Vice President of Marketing, Under Armour, Inc. There will be many more industry professionals in attendance, as well as University faculty.
